we recently found a Learning Tower for a steal on craigslist. i was getting tired of cooking with a crying child clinging to my legs and hope this will be the solution. The Learning Tower is a sturdy structure that lets your child reach the counter safely. she's just not tall enough or quite stable enough to stand on a stool. so now she is up at the counter helping me with everything.
it is her job every morning to stir the eggs before they go in the pan. she starts asking about the eggs as soon as she gets out of bed. while she likes using the fork, she really loves using her hands.
sometimes she gets a little carried away with it...
and we lose a little egg, but it is worth it. and as an added benefit, i'm becoming an expert in washing little hands, over and over and over.
