snapshots from the weekend

st. patty's tradition: black and tans

cozy in the big girl bed

creamy cauliflower mac

awesome husband-made pizza

quesadillas loaded with leftover veggies, beans, and chicken

tending to the radishes
planting potatoes in the snow, hail, and rain
this is roasting in the oven right now, making the house smell wonderful

i'll post more about planting the potatoes soon. so excited about them!

we are thinking about making some pepperoni, since we eat pizza every week. anyone have a good recipe?

also, we had a breakthrough with rolling the pizza dough out and using cornmeal on the pizza peel instead of using parchment paper. it was a very thin crust, yum!

    1. the beauty of the quesadillas is that they are almost entirely composed of leftovers. i love being able to give leftovers new life.

    1. i've looked a bit online for a pepperoni recipe, but most include chemical flavor enhancers, so now i'm looking for a good charcuterie book at the library. when we make it i'll definitely do a post about it!
